The River Blackwater, as well as its tributaries, is renowned for its excellent stock of Brown Trout, Salmon and Dollaghan (the native Trout of Lough Neagh). Key game angling venues would include: River Blackwater (Salmon, Brown Trout and Dollaghan.

Methods: – Fly fishing, Spinning and Worm fishing
Daily Bag Limit: – 4 trout per rod per day.
Size Limit: – Minimum takable size 25.4 cms
Licence: – DCAL Game Fishing Rod Licence
Permit: – DCAL Game Fishing Permit.
All salmon are catch and release as it is an offence to take salmon and this can lead to legal action being taken.
Club Waters are constantly patroled with Bailiffs. Please carry with you your licence, permit, day tickets or membership cards as you could be ask to provide proof that you can fish the river.
Day tickets to fish on club waters cost £10.00 per day. Day tickets can be purchased @ The Spar shop in Benburb village, Procastangling in Armagh.
To fish the season club membership should be considered as this could save you money.
